Be Grateful.

He gives and forgives yet,
we always get and forget,
we forget Who is feeding us every moment,
and we say "WE feed our pet".

 

througout whole life,
He gives us food to eat,
and when our friend gives us a party,
we say thanks for the nice treat.

 

some never thank Him for His mercy,
and they feel that they are cool.
but one who is not grateful to Him,
is surely a great fool.

 

learn to do everything for Him,
learn to thank Him in every situation.
this is the real art of life,
this pleases the Creator of Creation.

A lesson for a bike lover.

Once a son, who just turned eighteen, asked his father that he wishes to purchase a new bike. The father replied him to carry on. The son reluctantly asked for the money to which the father replied, "I can not give you the money but I can guide you how to get the money". On further request the father explained, "you can save 50 Rupees everyday from your pocket money for the bike, and the day you are not able to I will help you". The son began to save the money and soon after saving his pocket money for few months he was able to gather the amount needed to purchase the bike he was dreaming about. With his father's permission he excitedly left to buy a new one. To his father's joy, the son returned back with a decent quality second hand bike instead of a new one and saved more than half of his collections. What made him do that? It is possible to get the moon down to earth.

The habit of dreaming is ancient to humankind. We all, whether big or small, have dreams which we wish to accomplish. Even toddlers like to dream big. For instance, many of us had a dream to play with the moon in our childhood. Now if a child is crying to play with the moon, what should the mother do? Neither does she like to say no to her child, nor does she wishes to hamper her child's desires. But, other than saying that this is not an achievable dream, what option does the mother has?  The similar request was placed to Kaushalya by little Ram  once.  She handled it very intelligently.
