Poem: My country Bharat is my relative, not just a land.
My country BHARAT is my relative, not just a land,
She is the mother of the world, with the heart so grand.
Since the beginning of the creation, she is teaching devotion,
Just like in God's kingdom, here also things have emotion.
Emotions are present there, in every particle of her sand,
My country BHARAT is my relative, not just a land,
She is the mother of the world, with the heart so grand.
Rivers and cows are considered as mother here,
In the form of father, elders and Gurus receive love and care,
Through stories and culture, such care is repeatedly enhanced,
My country BHARAT is my relative, not just a land,
She is the mother of the world, with the heart so grand.
The seasons here are also respected as goddesses,
They reciprocate, by giving fruits and vegetables in masses,
The soil here is not considered as dust, but fragrance of God's hand,
My country BHARAT is my relative, not just a land,
She is the mother of the world, with the heart so grand.
Even enemies are welcomed as relatives here,
Even they are transformed, by her warm atmosphere,
Many settle down here to dive in devotion, give up businesses they planned,
My country BHARAT is my relative, not just a land,
She is the mother of the world, with the heart so grand.
Happiness of festivals and seasons is her secondary gift,
Even in difficulties, she want us to be grateful, so that our souls uplift,
For all centuries – Prahlad, Hanuman and Pandavas are her heroes in demand,
My country BHARAT is my relative, not just a land,
She is the mother of the world, with the heart so grand.
To be grateful to everything and everyone around,
Where else can we find the culture so much sweet and sound,
Her culture is full of freedom, for centuries it has naturally spanned,
My country BHARAT is my relative, not just a land,
She is the mother of the world, with the heart so grand.
I would like to conclude the poem by saying that it's our duty and our responsibility to gift such a sweet and sound personal culture of Mother India to the whole world.
We must, proudly, stay connected to our roots!
